Bishop Carlton L. Williams was born and raised in Wilson, North Carolina where he received his preparatory education. His post-secondary education studies include Livingstone College, Salisbury, North Carolina with a major in Criminal Justice, and a minor in Psychology. Study at Fruitland Bible College, Henderson, NC and is currently a student at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.
Bishop Williams is the son of the late Bishop Millus and Nina Williams, who taught him to love God and His church. It was at the church of his youth Calvary United Holy Church that Bishop Williams received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his Life. It was his sensitivity to God and his passion for ministry that caused him to embrace his Kingdom Assignment. Bishop Williams was ordained a Deacon in 1991 and an Elder in 1994 in the African Methodist Episcopal Zion Church. Bishop Williams served as Senior Pastor in the A.M.E. Zion Church for more than (10) ten years. In 2000 Bishop Williams honorably withdrew from the A.M.E. Zion Church while serving in the Western North Carolina Conference. In 2001 Bishop Williams joined Truth Tabernacle Ministries and in 2007 was asked to serve as Staff Pastor (Pastor of Operations) for the Truth Tabernacle Ministries, Rocky Mount, NC for (4) four years.
It was in 2012 Bishop Williams answered the Call of God to go to Roanoke Rapids, NC and Church Plant Roanoke Family Community Church. In 2015 Bishop Williams and the Roanoke Family Community Church answered the Call of God to walk along side Pastor Jaquarrence Knight in Church Planting Reaping The Harvest Ministries, Tarboro, NC; then on the first Sunday of January 2017 Bishop Williams and the Roanoke Family Community Church launched their second church plant in Roanoke Rapids, NC that is totally Spanish speaking lead by Pastor Ciro Tapia and in June 2017 Bishop Williams and the Roanoke Family Community Church answered the Call of God to walk along side Pastor Jermaine Williams in Church Planting Greater Praise Outreach Ministries, Elm City, NC.
Bishop Williams is a gifted teacher/preacher who provides Leadership Training and Spiritual Guidance to many throughout the Body of Christ both nationally and internationally. In 2016 Bishop Carlton L Williams was Consecrated to the Order of The Episcopacy in The Lords Church and humbly submits to his Spiritual Covering Apostle Aaron B. McNair, Sr. the Presiding Prelate of Life Changing Ministries International Fellowship where Bishop Williams is honored to serve as Chairperson of the Presbyter Council.
Bishop Williams is married to the former Celestine Greene and they are the proud parents of five sons and one daughter
